Raif handed over 280 kilograms of used batteries for recycling

Employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval handed over more than 280 kilograms of used batteries for storage and further disposal! We did it thanks to our partners – volunteers of public organization "Batteries, Give up!".

The possibility to collect so many batteries was provided with special boxes constructed in 15 Raif branches in Kyiv last year. Now all the collected batteries are in the warehouse of our partners, so all clients and guests who joined this campaign can be sure, the batteries will be recycled but not pollute the environment.

Happy to contribute in achieving volunteers` goal – 100% recycling of used batteries in Ukraine. This is important because only one battery can contaminate up to 16 m2 of ground or 400 liters of water with heavy metals.
