Escrow account can now be opened in Raif

Raiffeisen Bank corporate clients, while planning large contracts of sale or trade settlements, can open Escrow account for conditional storage of funds until the counterparty's obligations are fulfilled.

This new service from Raif will be useful for you when there is no confidence in the fulfillment of obligations by your counterparty when concluding large contracts on purchase / sale of goods, services, intellectual property rights, real estate or business, so the additional guarantee is needed.

The advantages of opening Escrow account:

- Raiffeisen Bank being the third party acts as a guarantor of contractual obligations fulfillment.

- From the moment the funds are transferred to the account, they do not belong to either buyer or seller until the occurrence of grounds, defined by the treaty.

- Raif guarantees the deadlines fulfillment on verification and funds transfer to the beneficiary's account within 5 days from the date of documents receipt.

- Escrow account funds may not be fined or seized either under the obligations of the bank or one of the parties to the treaty.
