Upgraded long-term credit rating of Raiffeisen Bank Aval to its highest level

Kiev. 14 Mar.   RA “Standard-Rating" took the decision to update the ratings of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.

in Particular, long-term credit rating of the Bank at national scale raised to the highest marks — the level uaAAA. The Bank or separate bond instrument with this rating is characterized by high credit status in comparison with other Ukrainian borrowers or debt instruments.

Short-term credit rating of the Bank upgraded to the national scale at the level uaK1 that indicates highest creditworthiness.

Deposit Rating Raiffeisen Bank Aval confirmed at the level ua1 for the scale of the RA “Standard Rating”.

As noted in the Agency taking the decision to upgrade the Bank's ratings, RA “Standard-Rating" took in attention to the analysis of the results of the work of Raiffeisen Bank Aval 12 months of 2016 year, special and regular information of the Bank as the Issuer of the securities.

in Particular, along with growth in balance sheet indicators, the Bank has also demonstrated the fulfillment of all the regulations of the NBU, the value of which Raiffeisen Bank Aval significantly exceed the minimum and average.

the Agency also recalled that the key shareholders of Raiffeisen Bank Aval — RBI and Bank — in 2016 year provided the increase of the share capital of Ukrainian Bank with 3,022 billion 6,154 billion.

“Therefore, as of 1 January 2017 g. the Bank has been very adequate regulatory capital, had high values of liquidity ratios and activity 12 months of 2016 years were profitable. These factors made it possible to confirm the ratings of JSC “Raiffeisen Bank Aval” to high level increase long-term credit rating to highest marks the national scale”, — analysts said the Agency.

the Rating Agency “Standard Rating” established in Ukraine in October 2010 as a subsidiary of European rating company GPRC “StandardRating”. In April 2012, NSSMC has included RA “Standard-Rating" (Ukraine) in the register of authorized rating agencies.
