Kharkiv oblast Directorate of Raiffeisen Bank Aval has provided charitable assistance of Institute of prosthetics

Kharkiv. April 28. — Kharkiv regional Directorate of Raiffeisen Bank Aval has granted charitable assistance to the Ukrainian scientific-industrial Institute of prosthetics, prosthesis and rehabilitation. This Institute is the only one in Ukraine engaged in the development of new technical solutions in protestaban and integrated rehabilitation of persons with complex disorders of musculoskeletal system.

For the needs of the Institute with the support of the Bank purchased the updated parts of the exoskeleton and a new version of the software to the system of Hand of Hope the cost of 55 thousand UAH. which combines advances in robotics and neuroscience, and help to restore the movement of partially paralyzed arms. Repeating the biomechanics of the human equipment allows to restore lost hand function, increase strength m’of human muscles and expand range of motion.

the Institute is intended for the treatment of 180 people, but for the most part daily treatment and rehabilitation at the Institute are 200-220 patients. Separately, the Institute has been the fate of ATU members — last year more than 70 of them received the Institute of qualified medical care.
