lions. June 16. — Director of Lviv regional Directorate of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Serhiy Boyko was elected Chairman of the Association of Lviv banks (ABL). Election of the Association took place on 11 June during the next portback election meeting of the members of ABL.

In his speech, Sergey Boyko thanked his colleagues for trust and addressed to the representatives of the financial sector of Lviv region with the call: “Despite the challenging conditions facing the banking system, businesses and our citizens today, I ask you, guided by universal values, to use all available opportunities to assist and support each other. Pam's remember that the modern way of banker formed by colleagues, society, given our actions. Accordingly, each name should be synonymous with honor, integrity and patriotism”.

the Association of banks of Lviv region was established on 30 may 1994. on the basis of the Club of bankers and financiers. The organization has the aim to create appropriate conditions for the development of the banking system, consolidate banks and to improve their interaction with bodies of state and Executive authorities, the National Bank of Ukraine, Association of Ukrainian banks, other organizations. In particular representatives of ABL are included in the Board of the regional state administration, working on programs to improve financial literacy of all strata of the population of the Independent Association of Ukrainian banks, as well as participate in a number of activities aimed at ensuring conditions for fair competition in the financial-banking sector, restore confidence to the banking system.
