"Business Academy" from Raiffeisen Bank Aval held a 100th seminar

Kiev. 15th of November. - Within the framework of the “Academy of Business” project from Raiffeisen Bank Aval, the 100th business seminar for small business clients was held.

The anniversary seminar on the theme “Evaluation of investment decisions: typical management decisions and typical mistakes when making them” was held in Nikolaev. In the same regional center, on February 14, 2014, the Academy of Business conducted its first business training on the theme “Management of accounts receivable and payable and inventory”. The topics of all business seminars are developed in conjunction with a partner of the bank - the International Finance Corporation IFC (one of the five institutions of the World Bank Group). The coaching team of the project consists of 15 business coaches, 6 of which have received international certificates for the implementation of coaching activities according to the Business Edge methodology (actively used in more than 30 countries of the world) both in the bank and beyond.

Like three years ago, the project “Academy of Business” from Raiffeisen Bank Aval has no analogues in the market of banking services in Ukraine.

Since 2014, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has held business seminars for small businesses in 22 cities of Ukraine. They were visited about 1 thousand. participants from 850 companies.

Constructive discussions, exchange of experience, thoughts, knowledge, practical application of the theory, building partnerships and much more are indispensable pits for all the activities of the Academy of Business.

The Nazarenko spouses - Vitaly Vladimirovich (director and owner) and Anna Vladimirovna (chief accountant) of Teplotekhkomplekt LLC (a client of the bank since 2000) - shared their impressions: “Today we attended a business seminar for the third time, and once again were pleasantly surprised. Previous topics were both interesting and useful, but the topic of today's seminar, “Evaluation of Investment Decisions”, overshadowed others, both in terms of complexity and in terms of practical use. It was about how to choose a business, how to evaluate it, how to make a reasonable decision to start a business and other issues.

It was interesting from beginning to end, although the duration of this seminar is longer compared to others. Without a doubt, it can be argued that the information is useful! These are practical and effective tools that need to be used: risk assessment, forecasting, detailing miscalculations, and many other equally important topics. We are always in search of innovative, progressive and effective - it is not easy, but necessary.

Many thanks to the bank for such business meetings, experience and level of training of bank employees - now also part-time and business coaches - make these meetings profitable from absolutely all points of view and have a positive impact on building relationships between the bank and the client! It is important to note that the participants in business seminars are entrepreneurs and businessmen, not only clients of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.

Anna Tishchenko, chief accountant of the state of emergency, Nika Palant Company (director - Irina Moldovanova; the company has been a client of the bank since 2012) participated in the anniversary business seminar. During their first visit in March 2015, the client was a small business representative; Today, the company has expanded its activities and since the end of last year it has already become a corporate client: “Every time our company takes part in these events with gratitude and pleasure. As an accountant, most of the topics are familiar and understandable to me, but every time I note something new and important for myself and then use it. Some approaches and analysis tools disclosed in the topic “Evaluation of investment decisions” will really help us. Of course, we all calculate and weigh in detail, but not so globally. Some factors are not taken into account, and, as I was convinced today, in vain. It is good that all the theoretical points of the seminar are supported by real examples and are based solely on calculations. Sometimes our own experience is not enough, and at these business meetings we have the opportunity to get acquainted with the successful and not too experience of other companies, to hear different opinions. Suggestions: to develop this direction for customers in the future. I'm sure this project has a great future. ”
