Raiffeisen Bank Aval held in 5 cities regular business seminars for small and micro business

Kiev. 11 Feb. - Raiffeisen Bank Aval held seminars for small and micro business clients in Kiev, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Lutsk and Nikolaev within the framework of the project "Academy of business from Raiffeisen Bank Aval: seminars on business activities".

The main purpose of the event was to provide information support to customers, to expand their access to modern approaches to doing business, as well as to create a platform for small and medium-sized businesses to exchange experience.

"Optimization of working capital: management of receivables and payables and inventories"-this was the topic of a business meeting in Poltava and Lutsk. The theme of "business Development in conditions of instability-experience and tools" participants discussed in Lutsk, Kiev and Nikolaev. In addition, a seminar on "Optimization of own business – financial decision-making"was also held in Kiev.

The participants of the seminars were not only Raiffeisen Bank Aval customers. Managers, owners and accountants of enterprises discussed the challenges for business, shared their own experience, participated in discussions.

Conducted business seminars employees of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, which have been certified to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and have many years of experience working with clients of small and micro business: in Nikolaev – Dmitry Ulyanov and Liana Margaryan, in Dnepropetrovsk – Alex Sereda and Olga Drispac in Kiev Oksana Yashchenko and Anna Pazera in luck – Olena Puzankova and Konstantin Shkilnyak in Poltava Oksana Dyadchenko and Ekaterina Prikhodko.

The guest of the business seminar in Kiev Evgeny Kulish, the owner and Director of the state of emergency "New life" (the main activity is industrial mountaineering, the client of Raiffeisen Bank Aval since 2009) shared his impressions: "recently I attend many different trainings and seminars. This desire is connected with the need to move forward, create and use other approaches and methods in business activities. Frankly speaking, I did not expect such an initiative from the Bank, so I took part with pleasure and, most importantly, did not regret it! The theme "Financial solutions" prompted the use of the proposed recommendations and approaches. Of course, from a theoretical point of view, all heard has the right to exist, but to draw conclusions about the practicality – it is possible only after an attempt to apply. I wish the Bank to move in this direction, because business support is now more important than ever."

The business seminar in Poltava region was attended by entrepreneur Svetlana Chub, Director of "Effective systems in animal husbandry" (wholesale of equipment for animal husbandry). The company has been a client of Raiffeisen Bank Aval since 2013. Svetlana said: "Everything changes, and if you do not respond to these changes in time, you will regret it. Of course, everything heard today was taught one way or another many years ago, but you do your job in your own way, out of habit. The greatest value of such meetings is comfortable and interesting communication with colleagues and representatives of the Bank. I visit these measures not for the first time, then I experiment at my enterprise and calculate the received practical cases. Also I was convinced that the sounded methods are effective and really work. I thank the Bank for these meetings and the desire to be with the client."

Elena Kuleshova, participant of the business seminar in Dnepropetrovsk, heads LLC "SIA 3007", which is engaged in wholesale trade of non-food products. The company has been serviced by Raiffeisen Bank Aval since 2009. "Doing business has always been difficult," she says, " especially in today's environment. Unfortunately, there is always not enough time for self-education. Therefore, I gladly accepted the Bank's invitation to the meeting, I am pleasantly surprised by such an initiative and I want to develop this direction in the future – it is a good building of singing relations with the client."

Another workshop was attended by Director General of SOOO "Yerkivtsi-2" Evgeny Chernenko. The company has more than 15 years of experience in the cultivation of grain, as well as the sale and selection of elite and reproductive seeds, is the basic enterprise of the National Research Center "Institute of agriculture UAAN". Yevgeny Viktorovich noted the professional level of the coaches and said: "the Training gave us the opportunity to structure the thoughts and knowledge that help us to correctly assess the company, its resources, to choose the right strategy. After all, despite the diversity of business, the problems are similar, and we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the practical experience of other businessmen, get advice and recommendations."

The seminar in Nikolaev for the second time was visited by the chief accountant of LLC SK agro contract Marina Belyaeva: "Our enterprise is engaged in providing services in preservation, delivery, warehousing of freights; with Raiffeisen Bank Aval we cooperate since 2003. Visiting the seminar for the first time drew attention to some of the recommendations and decided to try to apply them. We discussed with colleagues, calculated everything and plan to try to use the information in the context of business decisions. It is difficult to do something differently, but try to use someone else's successful experience there is a desire. So I enjoyed attending the seminar again."

In Lutsk "Academy of business" held seminars for the second time, and almost all participants of the previous business seminar again participated in the training. Nazar Gusak, Director of the Restpark hotel and recreation complex is not a client of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, but he stressed the importance of such events: "it's like in life: you don't know what and when you need it. And to engage in self-development and self-education is necessary, despite the lack of time and daily difficulties. Surely there will come a time when this knowledge will be useful. Depending on the growth of the business, many will want to use formulas, the expediency of which has recently doubted."
