Businesses can access preferential loans for energy equipment under “5-7-9%” program at Raiffeisen Bank

Entrepreneurs can access preferential loans from Raiffeisen Bank through the state-backed program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” to purchase energy equipment. The program is intended to help businesses maintain stable operations, avoid downtime, and preserve jobs.

Loans are granted to borrowers at 0% interest for the purchase of power generation units, including gas turbine and gas engine units, as well as biogas, diesel, petrol, and gas  generators. Loans can be provided to businesses for up to UAH 10 million for a maximum term of three years.

The program is available to individual entrepreneurs and legal entities in the micro, small and medium business segments that meet the state program’s eligibility criteria.

The state compensates the difference between the market interest rate and 0% interest for the borrower through the Business Development Fund.

As the largest foreign-owned lender supporting the Ukrainian economy, Raiffeisen Bank continues contributing to the decentralization of the energy system and Ukraine’s “green” recovery. Since the start of the full-scale war, the Bank has already approved the clients’ applications for more than UAH 3.6 billion in energy project financing. The Bank provides such loans under various programs covering all business segments – from small to large business.
